Breathe.
Moments fleeting,
always getting away,
awaiting my acknowledgement.
Feelings, emotions, serving as signs
of my attention fully deserved.
So I pause and reflect.
Heart still in silence,
listening closely to
the melody playing within.
Heart seek. Heart gather.
The truth in full has been hidden.
Open now, aware of what I’m needing.
Holy and healing.
Love, I give you permission.
Love comes and I’m safe.
No longer holding myself together,
holding my breath in. Exhale.
Undress, disrobe. Unravel.
Bare.
Light, delicate, exposed.
Vulnerable. Revealed.
Unashamed in my essence.
Unafraid to be seen as I am.
Inherently true.
Innately beautiful.
Intrinsically good,
He says of me.
I know of He.
Mind, body, spirit to Spirit.
Intimately known.
Found by love.
Understood.
Grounded.
Accepted.
Peaceful.
Whole.
Loved.
Bare.
This is a small prelude to the collective symphony that awaits us this Fall Retreat as we gather around the theme BARE. God encounters us so uniquely each retreat, our lives are hearts are extravagantly altered.
